USITT SW Regional Symposium January 17-19, 2014 at the university of texas at austin
This year's symposium hosted by The University of Texas at Austin features unique opportunities you don't want to miss. Sessions will include everything from wig making to scenic automation, the USITT SW Regional Student Design, Technology, and Management competition returns, and symposium registrants will have special access to meet the Broadway's national tour of Green Day's American Idiot.

Special ticket pricing for USITT Southwest to Green Day's American Idiot! Additionally, "Hook Em Arts" will host a pre-show USITT SW student welcome party in the Loft of Bass Concert Hall.
Conference Rates: Current membership is REQUIRED for attendance. All memberships expire December 31 of each year. Therefore, attendance will require renewal of membership prior to confrence. Rates include all lectures, workshops, key note addresses and activities scheduled with the exclusion of participation in the Student Design and Technology Competition. There is an additional fee required for entry.

Student Design, Technology, and Management Competition Guidelines and Registration:
The atrium of the UT Department of Theatre and Dance will be filled with work from Design, Technology, and Production students from around the Southwest Region. Do not miss this exciting display of student work open for public viewing between January 18-19, 2014.
The guidelines are new this year and include the addition of props and publicity. Please read the guidelines carefully before registering for the competition. The NEW guidelines can be found here.

Additional Symposium Information
The Symposium will be taking place in the Winship Building (WIN) on East 23rd and San Jacinto, Texas Performing Arts (PAC), The Student Activity Center (SAC), Radio Television Film (RTF), and Fine Arts Building (ART). A map of campus can be found here.
Onsite Conference Registration will take place at the Winship Building Lobby at 4:00pm on Friday January 17, 2014. Maps, session schedules, and event information will be available at the UT USITT Student Chapter help table. Sign-up Sheets will be available at 4:00pm on January 17, 2014 to secure your position at limited seating sessions, tours, and workshops.
